Help Us Choose Light

Early on December 19, our brewery was broken into. We’re dealing with the logistics, but we’re also sitting with that unsettling feeling of being violated and hurt. What struck us most was this: along with the expected losses—laptops, tools, some petty cash—every single one of our branded, hooded sweatshirts was taken. No beer. Not a drop of alcohol. Just warmth.

As we celebrate Hanukkah, a holiday centered on light in dark times, it’s hard not to reflect on what this moment represents. While this situation is painful for us, it also feels like a reminder of how much darkness and vulnerability exist around us—and how desperately some people are seeking warmth and light. So we want to respond in a way that reflects who we are. If you’d like to support us, we’re asking folks to consider purchasing a sweatshirt or a gift card.

For every sweatshirt sold, our printer, Nate at https://rendered.co, has generously agreed to donate a blank sweatshirt to a local nonprofit that supports our houseless neighbors. Our goal is to sell 100 sweatshirts—turning a difficult moment into something brighter, and spreading a little more light this season.
